The Band: Of Montreal Out of Athens, Georgia, a bold cry arises: "Fans of warped music,
UNITE!" Flying this flag for end-of-the-millenium eccentricity is Of Montreal. Not so
much a group as a collective of musicians who are anything but run of the mill, Of
Montreal is everything that’s missing in music these days. Romping through everything
from piano-rock to pop-smart songwriting to crazy bachelor pad noise-effect laden tunes,
Of Montreal can be simply labeled as, well, shockingly unclassifiable! |
